Unfortunately there is nothing we can easily do about the battery compartment and adding a piece of foam actually means you cannot close the compartment but thank you for the suggestion. We would strongly advise that you follow the detailed instructions in the manual about how to remove the battery rather than pulling the wires, so as to avoid breaking them.

I love the different patterns! I have so many tens machines including some popular expensive models, but this is so good.. Only issues are:
1. Too weak. Needs more power
2. Battery compartment is to small and is not easy to access.
Other than that, it's a great investment and I'm so glad I got it.

As for the battery compartment, the compartment is intentionally tight so as to prevent the battery rattling around which is something that has been mentioned on previous units.
